2009 ACF District 7 (3-Move) Open
Saturday - September 12^th

• ACF District 7 (3-Move) Open Tournament
• September 12th, 2009, Old Country Buffet, 7540 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68114
• Tournament is 7-rounds, 3-move style, all 7 rounds on Saturday. 
• 45 minutes time limit on each game.  This was decided due to attendance concerns, and tournament should conclude by 3-3:30 PM.
• Registration 8:30 a.m. Saturday.  Play begins 9:00 a.m.  entry fee is $15.00 and tournament should conclude by 6:30 PM?
• There is a $200.00 donation that will be added to the entry fees.  All money will be distributed to the players.  
• There is a fee of $8.50 that has to be paid at the door for your breakfast/lunch.  The food is outstanding.  You will have to eat when time allows.  We will not break for lunch.
• The OCB serves a great breakfast & Lunch
• If you come I-29 north or south, take the I-680 west exit to the 72nd street exit north off of I-68, or whether you are coming from the east or west on I-680.
• There are several motels right there, just a block off of the I-680 exit. Dodge street is about 1-1/2 miles north on 72 street. Turn left on Dodge street, the OCB is on the right side by Toys R US.
• There will be a short business meeting after the tournament.

• The Nebraska Checkers Association hosted the ACF District 7 Ty in Omaha, Ne. on Saturday 9-12. Seven rounds were played with the Swiss system as the method of scoring, with a 45 minute time limit per game. The Ty started at 9:00 am and was complete by 4:00 pm. A short business meeting concluded the Ty with no changes for next year (2010). Dave Stovie - Tournament Director & Scorekeeper.
• Bill Wethington from High Ridge, Mo. is the 2009 District 7 Champion and has won this event for the 3rd time - District 7 Championship (2009, 2008 & 2006).
• Total entry fees were $150.00, Total donations were $165.00, Old Country Buffet donated $100.00, Roger Stovie donated $15.00, Dave Stovie donated the trophy.
• WCDF #4 Jan/Jun 2009 Ratings.
• The NCA is looking forward to hosting next years (2010) tournament. Dave Stovie / Nebraska Checkers Association.
